What can I expect from Downeast Bartending?

_Downeast Bartending offers a full service, customized bar experience for you and your guests. Whether you are having an intimate dinner party or a wedding reception for 300 plus guests, Downeast Bartending can accommodate your bartending needs. We offer consultations before your event to create a special drink menu for your guests and come up with a list of what and how much you’ll need. Our bartenders are professionals and are certified through the State of Maine Alcohol Server Training Program.

What does Downeast Bartending provide?

  • Liquor and General Liability Policies
  • Cocktail napkins, straws and fruit picks
  • Pour spouts for 750ml bottles, ice scoop, ice bucket, bottle opener, wine key, cutting board and knife, shaker and strainer, fruit tray and bar towels.
  • For an additional  fee we will provide 2 bars which include:
  • (2) 8 foot tables, (2) 6 foot tables and 4 coolers

Can Downeast Bartending buy everything for us?

_Yes and No. We are not licensed through the state to purchase and sell alcohol. We can however pick up, store, chill and deliver all of your alcoholic beverages for the event.  What we can purchase for you is all of the sodas, juices, bottled water and garnishes needed for those drinks.

What about Glassware and Table Linens?

_Downeast Bartending will work with your caterer to order these items through the chosen rental company.

Do bartenders require proof of age?

_YES! Under no circumstances will our bartenders serve anyone under the age of 21. If there is a doubt, our bartenders will ask for ID. Sorry, no exceptions.

How much is this all going to cost me?

__ Parties and events are different. Your needs for a cocktail party for a dozen friends will be different then your needs for a wedding for 200 guests. The best way to figure out your pricing is to call us for a free consultation, either over the phone or in person. A small deposit may be required. We only accept cash or checks at this time.

What about gratuity?

_You may express your gratuity by allowing bartenders to utilize a tip jar on their bar OR you may provide a cash gratuity to your bartenders at the end of the event.
